Hello.
Just sitting today looking at the triban outside wondering what I could play around with to make any viable difference.
The brakes feel a bit crap, seem to have to pull very hard to achieve much... Maybe new pads? Recommendations?
Tyres I know aren't the best, but I doubt they're the worst either. Probably not worth an upgrade until they're properly worn.
Seat? Could probably do with changing. I seem to take a pounding, then again I've never really measured myself to ensure it's the correct size. Anyone have any recommendations?
Just had the wheels replaced with factory, I know they're the best upgrade, but a little expensive at the moment.
Handlebars aren't all that great are they? I could do with some 'ergo' (is that the correct term?) with the flat top, I've ridden a few mates' bikes with them and they feel worlds apart. Finding them on Internet searches seems difficult. It's a shame decathlon don't sell them in black.
Anything else? Apart from upgrading the engine (which is a work in progress) are there any stand out upgrades that are cheap and worth doing?
Thanks.

Try sizing yourself (sitting on tin foil!), ignore all reviews etc, they basically mean nothing. Stock brake pads aren't good, but aren't totally ride altering, if it's really bad braking, then a few turns of the adjuster will probably do a bit for nothing. Bang for buck wise, the wheels are where the best upgrade will come from.

Best way to improve is to get out and ride rather than looking at the bike. Otherwise clipless pedals should be your first upgrade if not already done.
