They are miles better for all reasons above...does make Mrs laugh though! I've also had the same experience. I figured out of the frying pan and into the fire and picked up a tri suit from Aldi at the weekend (they only do med and large, so no prizes for working out which size I got). Can't see any pad movement being possible with that on. Haven't been bold enough to wear it in company yet. Can't figure out if it I should only be wearing it on a hot sunny day, or in the dark when no one can see it, or its contents.

My office mate calls the pad a "man nappy". And when my mum catches the bib shorts look it is always with the chants of "Easy, Easy" (wow... this must be the most Big Daddy references in a thread ever).

Try a pair of the Aldi Bib shorts, gel pad and only Β£11.99 got a pair the other day, gonna try them this weekend. The pad doesnt look that much so at least i can take em back if there not upto much.

so much better fitting that shorts and stay in place forever. Got a bit sore after 50 odd miles but nothing a bit more vaseline wouldnt have sorted.

Bibs also act like Spanx and make those skin tight tops fit a lot better!
