Blue and Anthracite - 120 TPI, 240g per tyre, 25x700c
Having done a few hundred km on these tyres now, I'm impressed.
They've dealt with the potholes, flint and grit of the IoW roads with only a few little nicks, but by far the best thing about them is how they ride. They're supple like tubular's and the feel of contact with the road is better than any other clincher I've used - especially as most all weather and puncture resistant tyres lack feeling, usually due to a hard compound and/or kevlar belts, but not these.
The grip is excellent which fills you with confidence especially during cornering and while you can feel the differences in surface of the road, they're not uncomfortable. I'm so impressed I plan to keep these on all year round. Multiple colour and width choices too!
At Β£40 rrp they're expensive, but at Β£22.75 each from Ribble is a bargain.

Going to go for these to replace my 23mm Pro4's. I'll be tring them in 25's. Ribble have a twin pack offer on at around Β£42 which seems to be decent value.
All black colour for me I think. Cheers for the write up.

Under 500km and they have started to de laminate. I'm pretty sure the vertical cuts are at the point where the tyre was folded when packaged up. Ribble are taking them back as a manufacturing issue. Will get another set to replace them as they're still the nicest clinchers I've ridden!

Thanks for this review, hopefully you wont mind me asking a few questions:
Do you think that they are worth buying then, even with the issue?
I was going to get some GP 4 Seasons for my commute bike, but the reviews on these are excellent and the price is very good. I notice that there are at least 2 versions that interest me: All Weather and Extreme Weather, which would you go for?
Finally, what are they like to get on/off the rims? I get on fine with conti's, but I bought some schwalbe durano plus and they were a nightmare to get on, even my seasoned cycling friends couldn't believe how bad they were (sent them back).
Thanks. P.

They do ride beautifully, will have to wait and see what the replacement set does - the reviews on Wiggle and elsewhere are generally good, so I think this may be a one off. I got the All Weather which are very good in the wet - the Extreme are even more grippy afaik.
They weren't hard to fit, don't think I used levers - not taken them off yet, will see tomorrow but expect them to be easy.

I think that the All Weather look perfect for me, but I wanted a 28mm for my commute bike and online, all I can find in a 28mm is the Xtreme. How do the 25's look, I know that sometimes tyres come up bigger.

Easy off too - no levers needed. Size wise they're no different to my other 25s - they don't seem to be oversized.

Forgot to reply to this thread. I bought the twin pack of Vredestein Fortezza Senso Extreme Weather as these were the only ones in a 28mm for my commute bike (roads like Beirut).
You can see above, I was going to buy Conti GP 4 Season, but as these are quite expensive, I thought I would try the Vredestein. First of all to echo jumc, these were quite frankly the easiest tyres I have ever fitted (this is important to me as I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road when I need to be in a meeting). They went straight on the rim with no need for levers at all and fit really snug. After fitting them, I couldn't wait to give them a ride. They are super grippy and give huge confidence. After a day, I was throwing the bike into the corners on the downhill to see what it felt like and they are great. I thought that they were a little slower than the Conti GP 4000s I had on, but the times look pretty identical for the ride. This is the first time that I can't wait to get out in the rain to see how they perform.

The second set have now done the same as the first so they're going back.
I love these tyres, but there's either an issue with Ribbles stock being old, the way they're packaged breaks them (they're folders, and are cable tied up quite tightly) or there's a design/manufacturing fault. Searching the web, people have had similar issues with Vredesteins, but others manage 3000km with no problems.
Ribble have been excellent though.
