Morning all,
I was hoping I could ask for a bit of advice from people on here who have significantly more knowledge than me!
I'm currently looking at a new set set of wheels and the options currently stand at at:
New Shimano R501s. Only Β£59 delivered A one year old set of Rodi Airline 5 clinchers... Β£30 delivered.
The Shimanos are lighter but the Rodis have sealed bearings. I'm stuck as to a decision. Thoughts or advice is welcome..

I'd be buying new though Β£30 isn't a bad price for a half decent set of wheels to keep as spares.

No personal experience with the Rodi's but when my brother was buying a Ribble package build they were the standard fitment. I did some searching and found some poor reviews so suggested he spent extra upgrading to 501's (they wanted an extra Β£30 even though they sold both sets for a similar price). The Shimano's have sealed bearings too, you can't go wrong at that price new, why risk 2nd hand.

My 2ps worth. Go for the R501s I have them and can't fault them, pretty much bomb proof with a set of conti gp 4000s.
