On my way home after work yesterday , nearly halfway into my journey a car decided to run into the back of me. Duel carriageway with an empty lane to move into, thought he had gave me enough room then bang, broken nose, cut eye and other various injuries.

Ouch.... Jesus man. why do we do this? Were you in a condition to her for the person who hit you? Did they stop? WHat did they have to say for themself?
Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Urgghh... and to think all those ageing yank female celebrities pay a fortune for plastic surgery to look like that.
Seriously... heal up well mate. Try not to blow your nose too often.

Agree. I said that to myself this time last year. Sometimes the unexpected might just be around the next corner. I'm pretty sure my helmet saved me from a very nasty head injury.

Looks like you helmet's saved your face even more serious injury... much as mine did a few weeks back. Amazing things they are.
Glad you're in a condition to be posting on here.

Heal well and take it slow ...
Then get the bloody idiot that did this . They shouldn't be on the road if they don't know the size of their car
Just like the ID card to say who I am and blood type ,I never leave home without the helmet.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, hope you mend quickly and are back on the bike soon.
Also hope there's a driver somewhere reflecting on the impact of their impatience and inattention and vowing to change their ways.
