Maybe its just me being stuck in my ways, i like speed in MPH and distance in miles. I'm all for most other measurements that make calculations easier but with distances I always convert into miles, even when watching cycling I convert the km upto to miles to help me understand the real world speeds, haha.
Maybe i should just embrace it? It will mean doing my target of a century this year will be a lot more achievable, hell i'll even be doing a century and a half before my original target is hit. . . . . Im starting to like this.

Apparently I too am a modern man. km makes so much more sense than miles for cycling. I never was a modern man, until I realised that I could cycle way faster in kilometres/hour. Further too.
However I still like to measure cold days in Centigrade and warm days in Fahrenheit, obviously.
