If you look on YouTube or the GCN website, there is a recipe for their "Uber bars", excellent energy and dead easy to make Made both of these a good few times and both are equally as good and easy to make. Thanks mate. Had a look too at both. Planning my first baking expedition lol Really didnt know it was that simple.

Yes, they're really easy and quick to do Whitestar1. If you've got everything together and at hand then it's even quicker. I do all the cooking in the house so i'm use to it.

Funnily enough I went into Aldi today to get some porridge oats and they don't seem to do the "Every day essentials" natural porridge oats anymore, either that or I just needed to make flap jacks on the wrong day! Couldn't shop around though so I picked up their Harvest Moon variety, hope they're as good. Walking 32 miles this Sunday the last thing I need is bad flapjacks ! They do however sell Maria biscuits to make these www.pinkbites.com/2009/04/brazilian-peanut-candy-squares-pacoca.html

Well named as they are essential to me as I have porridge everyday. Like you I bought the Harvest Morn ones which for 24p more look and taste exactly the same but come in a brightly coloured cardboard box rather than a paper bag!

Good to know I haven't made a disastrous choice then, but I preferred the flour like paper porridge bag, it made me feel like more of a proper little baker rather than the hopelessly bad one I am!
