I was about to ask the same question. I am using a couple of those cheap silicone wraparound jobs. £1 each on Amazon and seem to work well as additions to my proper lights.
They are cheap so I'll be paying a pile more so I can carry extras in case of failure.

These were handy because both sides of the light are stretchable and attach on a little clip so I was able to stretch it around the vents on my helmet. Other ones have a fixed plastic clip and one longer strap which might be a bit tougher to stretch. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B77SGEC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

I got one of these for free www.bontrager.com/model/11364 so I use it on the front of my helmet. It's not super bright but it flashes quite fast and when it's dull it is quite noticeable.

I got a couple of those, I think they are still on my old helmet. Problem with the ones I got is that a small knock and they switched off, so it means they are virtual useless when attached to the bike itself. On the helmet wasn't that bad but I'd be so paranoid about them not working that I would be checking my reflection in shop windows, for example, every couple of minutes or so. But, it seems glib to complain about quality when you are paying about £1 each and that includes postage from China. Eventually I went 'upmarket' and bought the microlights from aldi for £3 per pair - much much better.

I don't plan on doing a ton of low light riding and these are a decent match as they are almost disposable at these prices. Do you have a link to the aldi pair?

They were just part of one of the aldi cycling events. Have to keep an eye out for the next one, I guess.

Currently looking at some flat ones at my local Decathlon. I am thinking of taking my helmet to the store and see if it fits before buying. At the momemt just looking for a red one.

I have these on the rear of my bike, decent wee light, long lasting charge too. I doubt if the strap is long enough to fit round your helmet though.

I have one of these lights ( btwin v100 rechargeable ) clipped directly onto the rear adjustment strap on my btwin helmet, fits on fine but I don't remove it to charge as the clip is likely to break if stressed to often, I have used it for weekend runs of about 4 hours and its still has charge left for use through the week.

These kept popping up all over facebook, i was quite tempted as they had a buy one get one free offer on but never bothered in the end. Have a look at something like these, great little lights. I've not got them but a mate has and they really are quite small.
