Nice job Rob! Nicely edited and like the captions telling the ride story. How did you make the date and time in the bottom left corner dance around like that? Really good insight into one of your velo sessions. Looks like a great workout. You'll have us all wanting to join you one evening. It must be very tempting when it's your turn on the front to try and pull harder. Was that typical in terms of how busy the track was? Are you shouting out to slower riders in front of you to warn them that you're coming through? Love the fact that some were out there with their mudguards on. Were you on the Rose or the T3, and if the T3 did you have your Cruds on??

The dancing... youtube's "stabalisation"... not sure it was a good idea... won't do that again.
That was fairly typical of how it is in winter in semi decent weather (i.e. dry and not blowing a gale, more if it is still and a bit warmer. As for shouting, yes, a very load shout of inside as we approach, usually the person in 2nd does it so the real effort maker doesn't need to, though you can JUST hear me shout it (the camera's waterproofing also makes it nearly sound proof).
Yes, I'm on the T3 (wet to get there and back) so I did indeed have the mudguards on. There's often a lot of sand, especially if it has been wet, so they are very useful.

Then it's a hero Β£99.99 then same as the first picture in my post above . Really good little camera. But if the lens is scratched then it's bust so get a lens cover. Unless you've seen where to get replacements and how to remove ?

Did my first ride yesterday (18/01/2015) recorded 12 miles. It came out as 4 files for 1:01 2gb each at 1024. Going to lower the resolution to 720 so I can increase the amount of recording time.

Getting the cam off the bike, opening the case, punch out the card, then into my macbook (no interface on the pc) then the reverse to get it back on the bike That is work. For a Β£100 I no its a deal but in this day and age it should had been pc/mac discoverable. Everything is these days.

(Windows 8.1) I did a camera update some time ago and didn't bother to try it on a computer. Then I connected to my PC and it was detected with the Hero icon in Windows File Explorer. Then the GoPro software initiated a update. Wow it now can be seen on the PC and be browsed. Awesome.

Is it not quicker / easier to pop the card out and use a card reader? I find it's much quicker to use card reader to copy the files to my HD than try to copy then direct from the camera using the USB lead.

Do you have a card adapter that suits your card? I had to buy a new adapter as my SDHC adapter wouldn't work with my SDXC card.
