Simple question, which would be the best buy?
1. Second hand Red 3 for £250 - Good condition.
2. New 300 @ £280
3. New 500SE @ £380
4. New 500 @ £430
Was ideally looking sound the £300-£350 mark. Real question is the 500SE better than Red 3?

If it's in good nick and fits - the Red t3 (but I'm bias) and use £100 spare to upgrade wheels

As long as you're sure about the condition of the Red, and it's the right size, they are a classic The 500se does have a better chainset though, especially if you can get one with Sora, you'll have a warranty so it is the safe option and £330 is a great price.
