There's still a long way to go in this years awful dance extravaganza and my Saturday night refuge centre is running out of cycling DVDs. Has anybody got any recommendations. Last night was "Overcoming" about the struggles of Bjarne Riis. Great stuff.

Just relax dude and enjoy the dancing. Sounds like that would require "Overcoming" of a different nature. As the father of three dancers (two female, one male) I have learned to see Strictly as family viewing. Truth be told, now they are all teenagers I watch it more than they do. Mrs D and I even took up ballroom and latin lessons for a while until she put her back out on a canal holiday. Must say it was great exercise. I'm waiting for her to suggest we start up again...

I took ballroom/latin up last year... really good exercise, especially when we do an hour's beginners jive followed by an hour of intermediates samba. Was like dying that week.

That's a cruel combination! Like the Sufferfest of the dance floor.

It's the time of year. Total dross on the telly! As mentioned above, forget Strictly, forget X Factor, hop on the turbo while the dark nights are here. I'm planning a ride or two out on the roads for some night riding if it's dry. Decent lights shouldn't stop you still getting out.
