Hi Folks I completed my first Ironman on the Triban 3 this summer and he handled the 112 miles admirably. I'm curious to see if anyone else has done an Ironman on their B-Twin? How'd you get on? www.teampaynotri.wordpress.com

Nice report on your blog and major kudos for accomplishing the Ironman. Shows just what commitment, preparation and a cool head can do. Particularly liked the line at T2 where you pass on your farewell thanks to your T3 "I thanked him for getting me round in one piece and for being the best Β£300 I have ever spent". No matter how much bike envy niggles away at you, this will always be true.

Bravo, Roy And bravo on the iron man achievement in the OP! I plan on doing 4 or 5 sprint and Olympic distance triathlons on mine next year.

Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.
I'll agree with this one as I can't run and it takes me the best part of an hour to swim a mile!

Hi guys, This is my 1st post...despite owning a Triban 3 since 2013. I just wanted to share with you my awesome ride yesterday, during a Half Ironan (in the Cotswold)!
I did ride her ( yep, sorry, it's a her!!) at 20.3 mph during 54 miles(flat route), had never riden that fast before!! I made few updgrade (tri bars, mavic aksium wheels), but god, the feeling of over taking bikes worth Β£3K was so greaatttt!!! Long live the Triban 3!!!

My T3 will have its (mine is not a boy or a girl) taste of a triathlon in <1month at a local sprint event. Plan is to go up to Olympic distance eventually and see how I rank amongst my age group (40+).
Fair play teampaynotri doing the ironman on your T3.

My T500se has managed the Cheshire Tri, Carlisle Duathlon, a handful of short 'GoTri' events, and is now handling the step up in training to Olympic distance admirably.... Ironman? are you mental?!!

My mate Paulo did that Cotswold one, he came second overall, reports to me that he's surprised how it panned out, as he's not training as much as when he was in Team GB - I'm riding with him Saturday (gawd help me)!
