Hi guys got my new black hoods delivered from Taiwan , via Microsoft website
£8 delivered, strangely received two lots in box
any ideas how they go on? Does It involved strip down of bar?

You have to unclamp the lever from the bars, with a 5mm Allen key down the side of the lever inside the hood. Look for a groove to lead the way. Once the lever is off yo then have to undo the brake cables from the calipers as this is your only obstruction once yo have removed the old hood BACK of the lever. You could cut them off but you still need the brake cable inner to thread through the new ones.
Make sure the inner cable end is in good condition (not frayed) before trying to insert back through the inner cable.
Note. When pulling the inner cable from the rear, make sure you catch the little rubbers from the section close to the top tube.
Edit: you may not need to strip the inner cable out. Maybe just unmounting the cables from the calipers and frame will suffice. (I can't rember the reason I did it that way!)

I think I'm the only one on here that does!

On their website it actually says you get an extra free black pair with every pair purchased
