Could always put Microshift 8 speed on with the red hoods?

Sigh, I've always struggled with getting input from serious fellow designers !

I am OK with it. It reminds me of some of the 'out there' designs from Wyndy Milla. What ever way you look at it, it is a beautiful frame shape. I would really like this shape in a carbon frame.
Mind you, they have done really well to get the whole thing down to 8.2kg with an alloy frame.

OMG - same shape in carbon fiber? Bit like saying I'd like an Amstel in a traditional GB bitter pint glass?

Yes, some of the Bianchi C2C Carbon frames have a similar shaped slope to the top tube, the Ribble Gran Fondo and Wyndy Milla Lightening Seed (my choice if budget was no issue). I think that Specialized have a few frames that do the same, maybe the Rouxbaix.
However, I have never seen the Alur in the flesh, looking at it again it looks like a squarish top tube? Not sure how that would work (probably not). But 8.2kg for this frame is very impressive.

I'm jesting, sure something similar can be produced but wouldn't expect a straight copy of shape / form in different materials - although who knows, wonder if back to back comparisons have ever been done and tested?

I think the carbon Ultra range, recently up on the Deca website, looks to have a very similar frame style and geometry to the Alur, at least it does to me. (Perhaps hence the confusion in the names for the Alur/Ultra 720 on the French website). The Ultra certainly seems to have that curved top tube. I guess some of the tube cross sections will be a bit different and certainly the regions equivalent to the 'joints' on the alloy from of the Alur. Interestingly, the Ultra has the same directed mounted brakes as the Alur with the rear brake on the chain stays. The tech info states that the Alur frame (minus front fork) is 1400g whereas the Ultra weighs in at 850g, which is less than the average weight of the bTwin Aero wheels on the Ultra 900 and also 300g lighter than the frame of the Mach.

Does look pretty skinny, that's what you pay your money for (riding on thin air) I guess.

Now I've ridden a few carbon bikes, I can report they don't feel fragile, in fact my FC700 feels rock solid, although not been on the uber light ones. If you check out catastrophic frame tests on YouTube, you'll see they'll take huge loads before going pop. What does need to be watched is heavy sharp object impacts and crashes of course but that isn't necessarily great on any material.

I'm not sure if it's possible but it should be easy enough to accent something red made as a component like that in theory, if the red accent does park itself up the front end, it just needs to be something small and simple - if we / they (?) can't work out what should have the hot red focus (if not gears / brakes then what?) - best bin it as an idea, less is more. I think the red is jarring simply because there is none of it on the frame itself to tie it in. It could be as simple as a small strip of red at the join of the blue/black that would achieve this, but really if you're having to do something like that, I agree the question of is it needed arises. What's missing from the side on shot, is that there is red on the saddle. It gives the impression they got a job lot of Fizzik saddles with red accents on and decided just adding a bit of red on some other components would make it look ok.

They've done that on the inside of the chainstay, and there's a bit under the seat clamp, seems a bit random
