Hi Tribanistas Can Source Tiagra 10 speed 4600 Groupset from Ribble would anybody be interested in fitting this groupset to it
i dont have tools or bike stand as this is extra expense iam in the Tring Area about 12 miles from Aylesbury and would be happy to
pay a fair price, my local Bike shop are a bunch of elitist snobs and were not very helpful he even snorted when i told him it was for

Unfortunately I have found a similar attitude in my lbs. Despite being a mechanical numpty, I have managed to work out how to do all these jobs myself, using youtube vids and wonderful tips from this forum <3 to slowly learn. In the long run I think it's worthwhile getting some tools, which are not too expensive and doing it yourself - none of the jobs are too tricky. Also when riding you have the satisfaction of having done it all yourself and will be able to make any repairs in the future.
Sorry I don't live near to lend a hand.

Have a shufti at London Bike Kitchen. They might have something to help you? I'm sure they are not unique, but they are in pedalling range for me!!

Iam really amazed at the generosity and kindness of the members on this Forum and huge thanks to Rad for messaging me and offering to help as you see i have got another bike and this kinda makes this post redundant i would like to add that the Triban 3 lost me 3 Stones in weight and fuelled my Love for a rediscovered Passion and the unbridled Joy of Pedal Power from the bottom of my heart thank you ..........................

I know we all should support our LBS! But it will be interesting if their attitude to your new bike is better now you are an ex-Triban owner. Some might be tempted to remember how they treated you as a Triban , but I couldn't possibly say that.......

Some might be tempted to remember how they treated you as a Triban , but I couldn't possibly say that....... Like the scene for Pretty Woman.....so the good lady says, never seen it myself, honest. I've experienced the same attitude from a LBS near me when I was looking the get a new bike. They told me it was impossible to get a road worthy bike for less than Β£600 and the Triban 3 would fall apart. I've never been back.

Yep, we should underline that their position is fickle, as we know the frames are sound and a group-set is a group-set, it works the same on any bike that it fits. I wonder what their position is with teenage kids and labels? ...and surprise surprise, visit a bike shop asking to have an externally internet sourced groupo fitted, not difficult to imagine where that conversation leads.

I've been finding on club runs / cafe stops (although mine is a Franken-bike) that people say to me "these B'Twin bikes are very good, they always get a good write up, can't get better for the money"
Hung it up next to a yellow Pinerello Dogma 65.1 think 2 yesterday (what kind of bike name is that anyway!?)

I am not that far away, just the other side of Dunstable and have stand and tools and some experience-I've done my own T3 to 105 and back again for winter wear. However, by the sound me things you've taken a different path. Let me know if you ever need any help, I can also recommend a couple of good and down to earth lbs too. Also if you ever fancy a ride I've some good routes your way. By the way what's the new bike. I've a new planet x carbon frameset myself which I'll be building up with the 105 off the t3.
