So, I got my cousin to take a couple of photos of me earlier. Forgot to do 'pedal down' for height but I'm happy with the saddle height and the slight bend when I'm at the bottom of the downstroke. Can anyone (with more knowledge than me) see any obvious issues from these photos. Apologies for the quality, not sure if they are clear enough to show anything but any help/suggestions which may aid my lower back issues. Probably won't make any major (or at all) changes before Sunday but I'm just thinking long term. Cheers

I'm sure it's a fore shortening effect of the camera but you look massive on that bike. Others might be more helpful though

Rad has seen me on it plenty and never mentioned anything about it, so I can only assume it's my rubbish phone camera! But you're right, I do look rather large!

You've never said 'stop a second and have a look at the fit while I ride up and down the road'; most of the time I've ridden with you, it's been 'why is this or that noise happening?' at least we're out of kindergarten and onto proper primary school stuff like bike fit issues now!

...and while we're at it, your bottle cages don't match and you need some new wheels lol !

Haha! To be honest, never really thought about the bike fit, and done a bit of tinkering here and there myself...but now just trying to get my lower back issues pinned down. But I reckon you'd have noticed if I was engulfing the bike! And yes, yes, I'm aware of my wheels woes, and that's my emergency bottle cage. Hoping to try and source another elite one before Sunday!

All good buddy, you're getting onto the proper stuff when concerned about fit etc, as it's a product of questioning why things ache a bit, seeing if things can be sorted better after doing more miles ... all part of getting accustomed / becoming more part of the man machine thing.

The 57 is a good fit for me, i have put a 120mm stem on it tho. Maybe would have gone for a 60 but they didn't have any in stock at the time and the 57 felt fine. The new bike i've just ordered is a large, this is slightly bigger than my T5 frame so the stem is coming back down to around 100mm and the seat won't be as high.
