Those are good times. By coincidence I also came in at 5hr32.
Maybe not the toughest ride i've ever done but definitely the wettest. There were loads if flooded roads, streams running down country lanes and improvised fords.
I did see too many crashes where an ambulance had to be called so probably a good idea to shorten the route.

Just got back from watching the out leg and it's just started bucketing down. Walked up to Richmond Park and it was deserted. There was maybe 50 people from halfway between Richmond Gate and Kingston Gate an Kingston Gate. The whole way from Richmond to Kingston was fenced off so I think they were expecting a few more people out! Got some really good pictures that I'm now sorting through. Hopefully the weather picks up for the return leg where it passes the other end of my road. I did the same for the return portion. Alas, I found out that the route has changed since 2011, and they didn't return through RP. D'oh!

I did this and ended up with a moving time of 5:18, overall time was about 30 mins more, queueing for the toilet, accident in Richmond park and getting some food at the top of Newlands corner.
Saw quite a few Triban's, more 3's than anything, had a brief chat with a guy on a 5a after he said I had a nice bike (5a as well) and saw a white 5, but think this is the newer model
