I'm starting to feel new bike envy. Early next summer I think I'll begin looking. Quite liking the look of the BMC SLR 02

Given that the new 11 speed 105 group set is a shade over £300 then what do you get for £1500 that makes the rest of this bike so good? I would be wanting Dura Ace/ Di2 for that kind of money!

Well I'll be hoping to pay a chunk less than £1800. As for the rest of the bike just have a look at it. Call me shallow but the thing looks fantastic and I dare say lot of the price is paying for the R&D that went in to designing the frame. Isn't a standard dura ace group set around a grand on it's own.

Popped into LBS to buy brake blocks and ended up having a test ride on a Genesis Volare 20, a beautiful polished stainless steel bike with full ultegra groupset RRP £3000 and on sale for £1500. Seems like unbelievable bargain and would be a bike for life. Very tempted but only 2 in stock so need to gain wife's agreement asp!
