I have a spare spacer but chain reaction do them for the price of an Ale and free postage (I think), so that's easier than driving here (assuming you've got tools) - if not, come on over, I'll show you how - getting cassette off is sometimes a bit tricky (I use rigger gloves to protect my hands from potential knuckle scraping if spanner slips).

if he's running a 10s, then use his spacer! I just asked him - he said his Cassette (from his old bike, which he's now using on his Cube) came with a spacer, and he's using that on his Cube as it was an Ultegra cassette and the Cube stock one was a 105. But if they're the same speed cassettes, surely there would be no need for a spacer?!

Early 10 speed cassettes were actually narrower than 8/9, that's what that spacer is for, Mtb and Tiagra 10 speed are the same as 8/9.

It's similar to the one that came with my Fulcrums, I used the new one as, erm, it's new - if it fits and spaces the same (which it will), that's it, job done.
