Had a pretty bsd accident today no bike for at least 8 weeks. At the minute I can hardly stand up because of the pain. This isn't a sympathy thread but a way to thank baz and another mate who helped me. If not for them really don't know what I would have done. No cars or other bikes involved just very unlucky. I like to give praise where it is due. For only knowing baz a short while, I really do rate him as a very good friend. Soppy bit now finished

Hope your better soon. What happened if you don't mind me asking. acd1055 3 of us out and one guy strugglng on a bit of hill I had looked round to check on him must have clippef a kerb and next I knew I hit the verge full on the shoulder. Just glad I wear a helmet as I do remember hitting my head very hard. Could have been worse I suppose.

Jesus, ya nearly made me throw up my hard boilded eggs i had for breakfast ya soppy aul feck lol, seriously tho, i didn't do anything, big praise has to go to the motorist who stopped and then who went home, fetched a first aid kit and a bike rack then took you and the bike to hospital so a big thanks to him, that was a really bad fall and hope you get better sooner than later

Update from today. No surgery thank god but could be 12-18 months recovery.I have broke the shoulder socket and an op could do more damage sore as ....... is an understatement. Not looking forward to my first number 2 lol. Thanks everyone for the kind words even you baz haha.
