As the title suggests I may have made either a school boy error or I've pulled off a coup. The later being less likely. So I placed a cheeky offer for a set of Pro-Lite carbon forks on ebay yesterday. The forks were up for Β£40 buy it now plus Β£10 postage I offered Β£20 plus postage and my offer was accepted but I will be honest I didn't actually realise I was committing to buy and on research I'm finding it difficult to find any similar forks reviews etc. At the end of the day I know they are forks and if they are carbon and they last then happy days but have I bought something shoddy? I think so. Any Opinions from you more experienced guys? Bare in mind I already think I've messed up so keep it constructive Here's the link for the forks. EDIT: For some reason the link will not work but here is a picture of them.

165mm of steering tube? That's kinda short. Check you head tube + stem + spacers length to see if it will work for your bike

Thanks guys I've somehow managed to wiggle out of it. I'll keep an eye out for some up to around 300mm I can always cut it down. Decent pairs for decent prices looking rare at the moment you got a great bargain Ian lad.

I am very wary of certain items on eBay. There are so many crooks out there. Even with branded cheap items I am cautious.
Uk potholes and a substandard quality add too much fear to my desire to save money. I am bad enough going down hills at 40mph doubting my own ability without even adding the reliability of my bike into it.
