That's a quick one @davefy7 . Roll on the next breezy day, I reckon 3 miles over 30 is the new black!

I don't even bother on longer ones if the wind is at me - I will if it's calm or weak assisted just to compare against assisted but if you want a long one, it's usually fought over on a windy day (same for everyone) - Strava is silly, we all know this. Why we like the one down at Michael Wood near here, is because it's a high hedge line at the start going south (Cotswolds behind, so even North winds don't really kick you along much), then into a thick wood for most of it, with a rise out the wood and a well covered roll out to the end with woods holding off any chance of wind assist, so it's a better true test than most. I will note that Paulo took it off me recently with a 18 kmh NNErly though .

IMHO to keep 30 mph (48 Km/h) on flat and for several miles alone is a very-very good performance, in a group of 3-4 persons of equal level is a nice performance, in the middle of a large group it could not be so difficult pros do the crono tracks at the unhuman speed average (!) about 55 Km/h (34 mph) and peaks of 75 Km/h (46.5 mph) and more Cancelara recorded 80 Km/h (50 mph) on flat in Qatar (with a mild wind in the right direction) 40 Km/h for a 75Kg person are 323 Watt 45 --------> 448 50 --------> 602 55 --------> 790 60 --------> 1015 65 --------> 1279 70 --------> 1587 oohhhhhhh!
