My rubino pros have done me proud. But I've noticed a split in my rear tyre. It hasn't punctured the inner tube yet but it's a matter of time. Could someone recommend a good pair of tyres for £40? If they have some red on them then all the better. But not essential. Or is gluing the tyre a good idea? Or is this not reccomended? I'm back on the saddle after a bit of a break. And I don't want to wish I bought a new set of tyres when I'm 20 miles from home.

I do worry about fixes using glue. Little holes yes ok but splits that have the potential to burst at any time would concern me. I like my skin and bones as they are. :-)
