I remember reading online about a mapping website that would plan a route for me if I told it my starting point and the distance I wanted to cover. (Saves me planning routes..)
Can't find it. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Have a look at www.routeloops.com/ its the engine used by mapmyride and garmin for route generation

The Garmin Touring works out circular routes, gives you three to pick from depending on how much climbing you want to do....
