I went in the other day to try and pick up a pump and there was virtually no road cycling stock in!
I asked one of the staff about the new bike range and they said they had no idea when they were getting them?
For all the fireworks and media releases about the new range they're not much good if you can't buy them?
We're approaching the end of April now...tic toc have Decath missed the start of the season?

Decathlon will be losing a lot of income with the delays to their bike range. We have already seen people on here losing patience and opting to buy elsewhere.

was on website the other day and thought the same. - the current road bike range is weird. a few old tribans in random sizes, and the Β£1000+ carbon jobbies. did notice a new bike "coming soon" a while back - but that seems to have been shelved. yeah - if thats their range, theyr missing out on all the springtime bike sales. If you are looking for a good cheap (ish) bike - my bro-in-law just got a real nice sora felt bike of wiggle. www.wiggle.co.uk/felt-f95-sora-wiggle-exclusive/ the f is very similar to triban, but with compact sora, while the z has a longer wheelbase and same setup. dont know if i should be linking them here. hope it dont get me in trouble =P

I don't know if it's related but a lot of the big brands are suffering delays on delivery of their frames from the Far East - something to do with trying to avoid import/export taxes.

Think that's a poor excuse. Decathlon staff told me they were opening a store or two in Brazil and had shipped loads of stock there.
They had massive supply problems with triban 7 last year too.

Think they have became very big very quick and now struggling with capacity. Just a thought

Looks like the Triban 500 has just gone up on the website (I couldn't bring up the road bikes page for a couple of hours this morning). Just checked to see that it's now saying "inform me when in stock", so I don't know if it sold out of stock in less than a day or if that's how it was posted up in the first place.

Yes just saw that, though saying none in stock at the moment, oddly it won't let me use the link to email me when in stock.

Both the carbon frame Mach bikes (700 and 720) are now up on the website. The 700 seems to be low/out of stock on some frame sizes already.
