Hi guys and gals, looking to upgrade my seatpost to carbon fibre. I've been looking about but cant seem to find a 29.8 carbon seat post. I'm sure that is what size mine is, got a 57cm frame. Can anyone give me a place I can get one or had one for sale. Will need a 350mm or longer. Cheers Rob.

I have a 27.2mm one23 carbon seatpost which is a more common seat post size and works fine on the Triban. You just need to buy a shim, which is available for around Β£5 either online or at your LBS.

From Wiggle last year:
Tifosi Carbon post 27.2/300mm Cane Creek seat post shim (in 27.2mm out 29.8mm).
Definately one of my better buys

A smoother ride Rob but of course it does look a bit sexier as well.

I got the Tifosi one for my Planet x - good value in the world of carbon seatposts - but not the lightest one out there.

Makes me look sexier you say, great I've ordered one.
Look out ladies on our next ride-out, I'll have the Lynx effect.
Don't worry you'll have no trouble catching me, especially up any hills :-)
