I realise that I'm not getting any younger, and that my back is continually giving me gyp so I wondered if it was time for a change in riding style.
I've always been fascinated with the recumbent bicycle, mainly because they look so comfortable; if you can do it lying down it must be good. So, with the T3 now at Β£250 in the Decca, and what is mainly left is the small sizes, I wondered about getting one and converting it into a recumbent.
I'm fairly proficient at engineering, and I also have access to high class welding equipment. It's certainly not going to be easy, and I'll have to find a lot of bits, but what I want to achieve will still basically be a T3.
What do you think?

Could use it for the kites aswell well remembered that man. Be a bit on the tricky side though. Although there are two wheel buggies for power kiting, they tend to be a lot lower to the ground, and still steer using the feet

I was surprised to have so few takers on this, I imagined outrage Although part of what I said was true, in that i would like to have a go on a recumbent at some time, the rest of it was a jape in honour of the date. I have no intention of buying a T3 to carve it up. (and my back is just fine).
