IMPORTANT: People who are interested in the T3 2012 model and are inbetween 5"5-5"9 (5"4 with long leg and 5"10 with short leg) I have ordered the LAST NINE, I REPEAT 9 54cm and 12 57cm frames in at Decathlon Wednesbury (Birmingham). There are also another 40 left in the warehouse in the 57cm size but they will go fast. So get them to go into there local shops and place an order ASAP. Thank you.
Note: People who are taller or shorter from what i recommend as sizes are more than happy to at least try and fit on a 54cm and 57cm T3 as what i give are rough guidelines. Especially have an attempt with the 57's still remaining.

Seems a bargain at ΓΒ£90. How come its only got 21 gears? Could the owner has lost one?

Treat Gumtree with a LOT of caution, a lot of stuff is nicked - hence the seller cannot figure out 8 x 3 are 24 !!!

Do I sense an 'end-of-an-era' event horizon looming?
Once they're gone, they're gone?

I'm speaking to Decathlon fairly regularly and have been waiting longer than usual as stocks are limited and I need the 63 frame. But in all my conversations they haven't said they've stopped making them. But yield to Dan's superior knowledge. I hope it's more the case that reports of the death of the 2012 Triban 3 have been greatly exaggerated!

Been to Decathlon today. They have quite a few in Sheffield. Looked like 54's and 57's too. All shiny and red!

They just make fewer 63s, like shoe firms make less size 15 shoes. Am sure Dan (Arny) will confirm.
Annoying (as I need a 63) but understandable!

PV is correct with this, 63's were only there incase a customer wanted a specific size it was only becau of its success decathlons were allowing them to be a more standard size as they were being asked more frequently. Initially it was only meant to be 54cm-60cm on display and if a smaller/bigger size was required, it would be customer ordered in for them... That is y the new 5 only goes up to the 60cm frame but, although i am only a sales assisstant, i can still get in touch with some of the higher people in the industry because here is how it goes for industry. It goes sales assistant -> duty manager -> department manager -> operations manager -> store manager -> head of region -> head of uk. -> then the big boys and girls at the top of the decathlon then oxylane. So as you can c, im very small in this but i can get chance to speak to the head of uk directly, and explain the situation we have. hopefully, it'll go from there.
