The TOB2014 officials are getting a bit of stick on twitter. They have promised to include Scotland next year.
The excuse for a Tour of Southern England and Wales..... "Unfortunately we have to reduce distance between stages so compacts overall route, but we will be back in 2015!" "All part of UCI regulations we're afraid, starts & finishes should be within 90-mins drive going forwards."

Looks like Stage 7 passes through my home town of Horsham Just need to sweet talk SWMBO as its the same day as number one son's 6th birthday. I'm sure he'd love to see a bike race for his birthday...won't he?

Looks like Stage 4 could be passing through, or at least very near to Cheltenham. Good times!

Stage 7 is right on my doorstep on roads I know well. It should be possible to see the start in Exmouth, cut across to Haytor and back to Exeter for the finish. If anyone's around, let me know. Its a Thursday though so might be difficult for some.

Thanks for the info davefy, defo going to take the family to Liverpool for the city stage. Stage 2 will run pretty close by Chester so think I'll pop out for that one as well. Hopefully we can get more detailed maps at a later date, the maps on the official site are fairly basic

What exactly does that mean - HC? Does this mean the ToB is on par with say the Classics? and does it mean that they will be able to use race radios?
