Hmmm the cube hasn't been on any of my lists until now. I like the GTC pro with the 105 group set.

Still looking at my options (and finances!!), but at circa £1300 I'm leaning towards a good alloy bike rather than a carbon one. March's issue of Cycling Plus is their Bike of the Year issue, so bikes in the range £1500 - £2000 to consider too.

Why no more mention of the PX Pro Carbon? I'm not sure on the frame quality.

BMC Granfondo GF02 frame weighs 1700g for triple butted alloy frame, carbon forks and carbon seat post. That's mighty impressive for a metal frame!

I totally agree with you del,i have been looking for quite a while now and have looked at so many carbon bikes but they just don't do it for me but on the other hand I have seen a couple really nice bikes and they are alloy? the search continues

Hmmm the cube hasn't been on any of my lists until now. I like the GTC pro with the 105 group set. Just learned today that a Strava buddy of mine has bought a Cube Peleton Race. Alloy frame, FULL 105 groupset, internal cable routing and Mavic Aksium wheels for £999!!!! 8.7KG in weight. Might just have to arrange a wee look and a test ride. Cube Peloton Race

I've pretty much decided not to buy a carbon bike at this price point. If I was spending £1750 - £2000 then it might be a different story.
