Hi, jdebs & @ohoward can I just ask... did you consider the RT58 when buying your pro carbons? I'm looking at a pro carbon for my longer summer rides so that I can keep my T3 set up for commuting, but the RT58 caught my eye. My budget will (just) stretch to the RT58 but I'm wondering whether the extra £400 is justified. Any thoughts? Thanks

I've been swithering for a week or two about whether to go for an RT-58, a Giant Defy Advanced 2 or a Trek Domane 4.3, come the New Year. I figure that irrespective of my final decision, I'll upgrade the wheels as these are, IMHO, the weak link on all three. Just can't decide whether it's best to go for a 'better' frame, or a better groupset.

On this theme then how about the RT 57? Your under the C2W grand mark and getting a top frame and still shimano 105…….

I'm slightly put off by the "race-honed carbon" for the RT57 However, I have no idea whether this is just clever marketing that I've fallen for...

I think it looks sexier than a strictly come dancing naked special.... And I'm sure someone told me that 105 is more durable than ultegra? Opinions....

The bike is quality for the price. Shame about the weather we are having. Go for the RT58 if you can. Why not. It makes sense. My next bike will be a PX without a doubt. Keep us posted about what you go for. DO IT!!

Thanks jdebs I'm hoping that when I see them I'll get a similar reaction and one of them will stand out.
