A Turbo or Rollers for Christmas Would love a roller but not willing to spend more than £60 for one - that makes it second hand but then its only for winter use.

lights; tight; base layer; bib shorts; thermal socks; over shoes; dhb Wisp Jacket; skull cap; glove were not to good need something a bit better, and peddle hard when I felt cold. Snow days walked to work only 2 miles. Watch the car crash into the round about at the bottom of the hill. That sounds very much a full shipping list brad! What makes me concerned is the last item on the list, watch the car crash into the roundabout. Curious does that come packaged?

Stock wheels have gone back on the bike and mud guards fitted, couple of new base layers purchased, new lights fitted (super bright so i can ride at night). If the weather is really bad then turbo it is! Mountain bike is now back in use for the ride to work. I think I will be doing that too! Now just to figure out how to change over the cassette.

DHB roubaix bib tights, base layer, jersey, jacket. Decent socks, skullcap, buff in really cold weather and a windcheater. I have the cheap as chips one from Decathlon at the 'mo and it's really, really good. It's meant to be only showerproof, but it's kept my top half bone dry for the last two very rainy outings! Only complaint is that it's not too long on the back. Shoes and overshoes, gloves - that's it! I have lots of lights - Wosie looks more like Crimbo tree than a Crimbo tree does, and my new Cree T6 has just arrived too. That'll be three lights on front, and three on the back! I just need to put some mudguards on (Crud Catchers were recommended). You referring to the see through jacket for £299.99? Almost bought one but I was looking for something more waterproof. So its good eh?

My winter kit looks a lot like this..... But I sometimes get off that to go onto some rollers for half an hour in my shed. Ain't you just incredible! Sitting there while she languish in the back room! Not my Whitney!

So its good eh? The missus bought it me for my birthday, thinking it was waterproof. It's meant to be a windcheater and 'showerproof', but I've been out in a couple of proper rain/hail storms and it's kept my top half well dry. The only drawback is it isn't too long in the back, so I still end up with a wet arse! I'm sure she didn't pay £299.99 for it though. More like a tenner!

Bike recently fitted with Crud Roadracer 2's and for my ride earlier today I was togged up in my 'Team TOC' Endura roubaix bib-knicks, Endura Dexter windproof gloves, Endura base layer, Endura Windchill II jersey/jacket and a buff under my helmet. Toasty warm! Endura fan boy sounds very expensive to me hope you are very warm! Do like the brand.

I think I will be doing that too! Now just to figure out how to change over the cassette. When i got the new wheels i also put and new cassette and chain on so the old wheels have still got the old cassette. Very easy to swap over providing you have the tools, also very cheap to buy a new one too. The idea behind it was to possibly use the old wheel with a turbo tyre so wouldn't want to keep swapping the cassette.

I was told that it wasn't a good thing as the cassette and chain should be kept together. Change one, change the other. Something about wear and all that.

Something about wear and all that. Yes, i have heard that, but not too worried about it as the cassette was £15 and the chain was £12. Maybe if i'd gone for the more expensive option i'd look more into the pros and cons.

There is a slight down hill and a round about at the bottom. I watch quit a few car crash into it in slow motion not going fast, just could not stop. Not so good for the drivers but I enjoy watching it as I could see it coming.

Same here. Any suggestions anyone? See if the Planet x Autumn bundle is still available, cause the gloves in it are just the ticket and the rest of the package is not too shabby either. Can't recommend the gloves highly enough. Excellent. Ordered the Autumn bundle last night. Thanks for the suggestion.
