if i can get the right file types we could enter the rides on layers on the triban map is that of interest to anyone . would only be a visual for people so they can get an idea of the ride in their area like the OCTOBER HILLFEST
thoughts?

Perhaps only add social rides, as they are the quality ones. If someone thinks their route is outstanding, then they would need to launch it as an open invitation ride to get it on the map?

thats exactly what i was aiming at. we could have specific rides that are perhaps a yearly meet. its just something im playing with atm.

It's already been highlighted that a yearly meet isn't practical or inclusive due to distances, so encouraging small social pockets works better. On another tack, no one event is going to get us fit, a lot of mini socials works better for that, faffing trying to get a big group together is painful. @billyadam and I were aiming for a monthly one during the warmer months. A diverse record of good quality social rides should build a catalog of possible routes for everyone dotted around the country.

Thats great work guys, not as many people clustered around Sheffield Mecca as I expected. - Good to see where people are.

I still can't get my pin in that damned mep! I click on the link, and it logs me into my Gmail account, where I can see all the other members, but there's nothing to stick a pin in with.

Cant seem to add myself to the map. I am in Birkenhead anyhow. I want to ride up to the pondarosa cafe on the horseshoe pass one Sunday and yes I do mean in this weather. So if anyone fancies it give me a shout.
