PSV thanks for the very detailed report. It must have been a great day and a pleasure to be the first to see these in the flesh. Great facts there are they continuing their lifetime guarantee? I really believe that this is a great selling point and helps Decathlon sit out from the crowd.

Very good; was there any indication of volumes produced across the models / price ranges, as that would have to be a major driver in the overlap between the decisions to pump out top VFM lower budget versus the higher end stuff - no point in working hard at the Β£1K level / in-between point, if the masses are happy mainly on the cheaper stuff and the comp' stuff is doing the job for the smaller group of racers perhaps?
The Alur looks very interesting indeed - could well be the Spesh, Trek and Giant killer of next year.

Thanks guys. Time was a bit limited but I think I got round most of the topics people wanted raised. sodafarl - the lifetime guarantee is still there, for the non-carbon bits. I think carbon parts are five years. @ohoward - going to be interesting to see how the Alur goes. It really looked the part. Radchenister - I asked about supply chain resilience across the range and if they were confident they could deliver if one or more of their 2014 bikes catches the imagination like the T3 did. They said they were, and that a new distribution centre which opened in Northants this week should help address stock fluctuations in the UK. They'll get an idea of potential volumes in the first few months and ramp up production accordingly.

Do we know what the standard gearing of the Alur is?

Page 18 in the brochure Radchenister - hope the link works. If not, b'Twin compact 50/34, Shimano Tiagra 12-28 rear.

They've been at sky's colour pallette Didn't spot your comment until now, BA, but the resemblance was mentioned at the event today, and not necessarily in an 'oops, how did that happen?' way...
