I think they're a good choice Red, if you also use the T3 for those short little shopping trips. Saves having to always put on your cycle shoes. Zeb

Perfectly functional solution, I have combo ones on my old DHer which I bounce to the shops on - tbh, you can ride M520s with trainers, it's not great but I've ridden 3 or 4 miles to a pals house that way. Depends what you wish to prioritise. Personally I wouldn't want the cages on the bike for dedicated distance rides. At present I am toying with road pedals and shoes but may save that for next year as MTB shoes are much more practical - some new shoes for summer are on the list though. If you peruse things like the Look pedals you twig that there's not a huge difference between cleats on road and MTB but then we're into shoes and fit / weight. I do get a niggle on left outer leg bicep (the connection point under the knee) so position (float / adjustabiity) and support are things I'm currently mulling over, hence possibly getting better fit supportive shoes for me next. I think you know you've got it bad when the minutiae of shoe details mean more to you than the mrs !

I had the m324s on my gt zr 3.0, great that you had the choice to put on a bike shoe or a normal shoe. If I ever get my triban 3 I'll be purchasing a pair thats for sure.

Got the pedals fitted. They look great. Haven't tried them in anger yet, maybe tomorrow night wearing trainers! Got the dHB 1.0 MTB shoes as well but unfortunately bought a size too small so they are winging their way back to Wiggle. Hopefully I'll be getting the correct sized shoes before the weekend if Wiggles rapid delivery is anything to go by. Warp speed delivery!
