I cannot quite make out all the values but there are some high cadences.
I recorded, using my C14+, a few 180, 190 etc but I put them down to sensor error.
we need a test of someone trying to reach the highest cadence possible for a 30secs and see what it comes out to be.

Fair enough, that's some pretty fast spinning. Think i've maxed out about 150, might give it a blast on the turbo and see what i can do. Looking back at my older turbo session i've maxed out 149rpm / 43mph. My new mission is to hit 200 rpm

Is there such thing as "too high cadence" or one could spin at 500rpm, to say a figure, and still be nice or even better than a lower more normal one?
I only reach over 120 or so when riding downhill at a too short gear and it feels like I were going to dislocate my joints, like a car near it's rev limiter, can't even imagine how 170rpm feels....

I was surprised too but they are what is captured by the sensor. Not it happens on a regular basis - not one off!

I have a Garmin 510 with the GSC 10 sensor. It record a max cadence one day of 200. Yep thats right 200 rpm. When I tried to edit the ride that is give the ride a name and route name it wouldn't save it. Max Cadence was too high. So it seems to me there is a limit.

For me, the major attraction of choosing to pedal at a higher cadence is that you always look like you're not suffering at all (even if you are!), whereas if you're crawling up a climb in a big gear at a low cadence, to the casual observer you are dying!!
