i know, im through weeg side quite often, roond the 2nd division sides stadium is a bombsight, first time i ever saw a fully enclosed caged off licence was in govan, round by decca in glasgow too, ooo
but the weird thing is the patter is great in glasgow, it is more friendly than the burgh on the whole and the centre of glasgow has a more modern city feel but in all honest i like the old style city edinburgh provides, cobbles, nooks and crannies and how many other cities have not one but two volcanoes in them

That japanese marching reminded me of their Soroban or abacus calculating competitions. Radio 4 had a wee featrure on them recently. They teach the kids at school to use an abacus and have calculation competitions. However when they get really good they don't need an abacus any more. They just imagine one. Its treated like a marshall art and levels are attained in Dans. They add numbers in a really short time like this. Each beep dispalys a number and the calculation is done within the duration of the beeps!!! Are you ready?.....Go....

Haha, mind rubbers! I've never seen that before is that brasseye or just the boy off it? spoof news show with chris morris anchoring, all episodes are on YT easy to get, if you havent seen it its priceless - aired about 1993 it received complaints at the time that it wasnt a quality enough news show it led onto brasseye and jam and gave birth to alan partridge and IMO was the best of the chris morris comedies
