you can of course just get on the bike that just feels rite and pedal away? A lot of problems with fit only manifest themselves after a few hours in the saddle. Definitely. When i took my Focus in for a few tweaks (not to the fit, the bike had been professionally fitted) the guy (who no longer works there) said that the saddle had been set too far forward and adjusted it. so when i got home i adjusted it back as it felt fine and i had done some 50 mile rides without problem. I few months later i reset the saddle to the position the guy said it should be and did a few 25 mile rides without problem. it wasn't until i did a 61 miler that i buggered my back. I've since moved the saddle back to its original position, which is better but my back is still troubling me almost 12 weeks later
